Charcoco is a brand with control over its quality and consistency.

Only food grade binders (maize starch) is used to bind and compact
the briquettes. There are NO CHEMICALS OR ADDITIVES USED.
Thus making barbecues is safe with Charcoco briquettes.
Most briquettes are laced with chemicals such as barium and sodium
nitrate.During grilling, the fumes of such chemicals would come in
contact with the food, which makes it carcinogenic.

Charcoco is environmentally friendly in every sense. Traditionally,
briquettes are dried using driers wich in turn either use fuel or wood to
generate heat. This defeats the purpose of briquettes being a green
product. Whereas Charcoco briquettes are being dried using 100%
natural drying process. Drying yard used is covered with UV sheets
which traps the sun’s heat and with required ventilation that ensures
briquettes are dried naturally. Every batch slow dries over a period of a
few days, this ensuring that there are no cracks inside and outside of
the briquettes which helps in longer burning.

Thousands of trees every year are being felled every year for
producing wood charcoal and Charcoco briquettes are made from
coconut charcoal dust which otherwise have no use and end up being
landfill.
